Greeting card with a print of Baba Yaga showing the duality of an old woman, half of the image represents a witch surrounded by poisonous plants, the other half a kind faced old lady in a flower garden.
  • Baba Yaga Greetings Card 5.5x5.5" / 140 x 140mm

Baba Yaga - the best known of all Slavic legendary characters, but is she a supernatural, deformed, ferocious-looking witch, or is she a culturally banished wise old crone? This piece is an exploration of duality within older women, the ability to be both calm, nurturing and loving as well as determined, hot-headed and fierce.
