Framed Art print of Baba Yaga showing the duality of an old woman, half represents a witch surrounded by poisonous plants
  • Baba Yaga Art Print

Baba Yaga  - the best known of all Slavic legendary characters, but is she a supernatural, deformed, ferocious-looking witch, or is she a culturally banished wise old crone? This giclée art print is an exploration of duality within older women, the ability to be both calm, nurturing and loving as well as determined, hot-headed and fierce.

This illustration began as a pencil sketch, then inked and finally digitally painted.
